• What the FAQ?

You want to know where, why, what, who, and how much. Well then this is where you get your peace of mind.
When in doubt, the answer is always yes. or dogs.

Over the years I have made the conscious decision to take on less just so I could focus more on having amazing quality over quantity. I want to make sure you get the best experience possible and my focus is solely on you. No half ass work done here! But to give you some perspective, I use to do up to 60+ sessions a year!

Each on of my packages varies in how many images are delivered, but I promise I’ll always include plenty of images of everything I capture. I don’t like to give a cutoff number because I don’t believe in withholding any images from you for any reason. These are your memories. I promise to capture them fully and give you more than enough images to remember this Time in your lives.

Yes to both! No love story is too far for me to document it. Nothing makes me more happy than when either one of us travels for the session. Because I grew up and live in one of the most beautiful places on the western United States, I have had couples all over the country travel here for photos. I, in turn have traveled to over 30 locations, state side and international for my clients. I go where you want your love story to start.

The short answer is 20 years. But back then I was 14 and I would use those wind up cameras at summer camp. And I still have many of those photos! But taking wedding photos, that would be 11 years now. Wow, that’s crazy to think it’s been that long! I have shot over 200 couples in that time. And each year I learn something new and meet even more amazing couples!

Adventure sessions I have managed to get back between 2-3 weeks. With elopements and intimate weddings back between 3-5 weeks. But all sessions get an Instagram teaser of 20-40 photos within 24-48 hours after! I want you to get your photos back as soon as possible so it’s still fresh in your mind. Not months later.

I come from a family of hikers and boy scouts. I am always prepared for any session that requires hours of hiking or overnight sleeping in the middle of f—king no where if you wanted those epic views at sunrise or sunset that would require hours of hiking in/out. Take a look at my packages, I have several that accommodate this very thing.

I got a handy dandy Pinterest board made with lots of fabulous ideas! I got your back!

No, as I believe that editing is half the magic that goes into images and without this huge step the images are only halfway done. I promise to never leave any photos out that you’ll want/need, and if you feel I missed delivering a photo, just ask! I’m more than happy to check back through my images and send it over to you (I make mistakes, no lie!). I won’t let you miss out on your memories!

If you’ve already put a deposit down on a date then have to cancel it, the deposit is legally non-refundable and a new deposit will have to be made in order to hold your new date. But if you just need to move your date and I am available. You’re covered.

I do a easy $1000 down to hold your spot with the remaining balance due a month before your sessions. If you need to do payment plans just ask. I make it easy for you. I know you got bills to pay just like I do. I also can do Venmo, Paypal, Debit and Credit. Just know that there is a 3% fee.

All destination elopements/weddings  have travel expenses included in the price.

For booking however, I always book my flights and rental car on my own. But you can book my stay if you’d like for me to stay with you to bond with you and your family (done that many times!), but I am firm on booking my own flights + transportation.

I once fell 3 hours before an elopement. Went to the ER, got 2 stitches, wrapped it and put on pain killers and still rocked the hell out of that elopement! So trust me when I say I would only miss your wedding if it were out of my control (act of god, illness, death, etc) but in this case I would do my best to help find a replacement photographer to take my place that I trust with a similar style, although I’m not legally held to do so. If I can’t make it to your wedding your money will be refunded.

I always like to encourage my clients to go for it. It typically leads to more dramatic photos. But if it’s going to be bad enough that we’ll all be very miserable, or my gear is at risk, we will reschedule.

I can, but to an extent. I can give you referrals for anything you need. Florists, hair and makeup are the most common. But if you need someone to help the day of the wedding (not an elopement), I recommend a wedding planner. For elopements it’s a little more extensive. Just ask!

Nope. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
