Put on your boots, let your dress turn red from the rocks and create the most amazing experience in the most beautiful southwest state this country has to offer! Let's go explore. With me as your guide, I'll be your adventure buddy as well as your fearless photographer!
For those who love red rocks but want to skip the logistics of a National park. Yes some places will require a permit here or there in you want to get married, but Sedona takes the more laid back approach to life. It's so much more accessible too, making it so much easier to find those perfect hikes to explore. Best part, dogs allowed on most trails too!
How much time do you suggest we will need?
No love story should ever be rushed. I prefer the stress-free approach to any wedding day. Making sure nothing gets missed and you're able to enjoy yourselves without the pressure of a timeline. Let the sun be your guide. Most elopements I prefer to do 8 hours. You will be surprised how fast that can go when we include a hike to get to those private locations.
Where can we go?
That all depends on your sense of adventure! Do you want to go hiking into the back country? Or maybe accompany me to my favorite secret spots. Some places do require more planning, a jeep and maybe a permit or two. As well as lots of hiking, but what kind of adventure do you desire? Just use your imagination and let's go! Check out AllTrails to get a the primo list of hikes in the area.
Do we need a permit?
No permits are necessary when eloping outdoors, except at the State Parks or Crescent Moon Ranch. You may pay for a reservation for a group of up to 15 people for a two-hour slot-wedding, or you may reserve the Ramada for the day for a group of up to 50. It is one of the few wedding locations that has both water and red rocks. The State Park that allows bigger weddings is Red Rock State Park. You may set up chairs there for up to 100 people. The parking is easy-access for elderly or those with limited movement.
