Summer & Matt Elopement

A story of the Lake Crescent Lodge Romantic elopement

Summer and Matt are the kind of couple that come around once in a blue moon. Their love for one another is so intense and so real that when they decided to get married to each other they didn’t waste any time. Surrounded by their families and small group of friends they said “I do” on a rainy and beautifully wintery day out at Lake Crescent Lodge in the Olympic National Park. The tears and river flowed while the bride and bridesmaids adorned fur shawls and groom wore a handsome periwinkle suit with a tie that matched the brides bouquet of roses and carnations. Taking a quiet moment alone among the moss covered trees, Summer and Matt softly kissed and held each other while ignoring the rain falling on their heads. The Olympic National Park and Lake Crescent are nothing short of magical, and with Summer and Matt deciding to get married there made it all the more enchanting. Lake Crescent, or Crescent Lake as it is known by the non-locals, has long been one of my favorite places in the world.
